Sa densit\u00e9 est de 0,786 g\/cm\u00b3 \u00e0 20 \u00b0C et il est soluble dans l'eau. Son point d'\u00e9bullition est de 82,5 \u00b0C (181 \u00b0F). Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s polyvalentes, il est couramment utilis\u00e9 dans diverses industries.<br \/>Domaines d'utilisation :<br \/>L'alcool isopropylique est largement utilis\u00e9 dans les industries du nettoyage et pharmaceutique. Il entre souvent dans la composition de vaporisateurs nettoyants et de d\u00e9sinfectants, ainsi que de produits d'hygi\u00e8ne personnelle tels que les gels hydroalcooliques et les lotions.<br \/>C'est un solvant couramment utilis\u00e9 dans la production de vernis, d'encres et de diluants. Il est reconnu comme le meilleur diluant pour les peintures acryliques \u00e0 base d'eau gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son s\u00e9chage rapide.<br \/>L'alcool isopropylique est utilis\u00e9 dans la production de mono\u00efspropylamine, un herbicide.<br \/>Il sert aussi \u00e0 la production d'ac\u00e9tone et de ses d\u00e9riv\u00e9s par oxydation de l'isopropanol.<br \/>L'alcool isopropylique est utilis\u00e9 comme r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant, agent de couplage, d\u00e9shydratant, conservateur, fluide caloporteur et concentr\u00e9 pour pare-vent dans le secteur brassicole.<br \/>C'est un ingr\u00e9dient courant dans la formulation de produits cosm\u00e9tiques tels que les parfums, les lotions pour le corps, les lotions capillaires, les d\u00e9odorants, les vernis \u00e0 ongles, les shampoings, les laques et les d\u00e9sodorisants d'int\u00e9rieur.<br \/>Dans l'industrie de l'impression, il sert de solvant de nettoyage pour divers \u00e9quipements.<br \/>Solvant polyvalent, l'alcool isopropylique trouve de nombreuses applications dans diff\u00e9rents secteurs. Son s\u00e9chage rapide et sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 dissoudre diverses substances en font un ingr\u00e9dient appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 dans de nombreux produits.
