Liquide incolore \u00e0 l'odeur caract\u00e9ristique d'alcool, il est tr\u00e8s soluble dans l'eau. Le n-propanol est couramment utilis\u00e9 dans de nombreuses applications, notamment les rev\u00eatements, les adh\u00e9sifs, les encres d'impression et les produits de nettoyage.<br \/>Dans l'industrie des rev\u00eatements, il sert souvent de solvant pour am\u00e9liorer la viscosit\u00e9, la fluidit\u00e9 et le nivellement. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 comme solvant dans les adh\u00e9sifs et les encres d'imprimerie, o\u00f9 il aide \u00e0 dissoudre divers mat\u00e9riaux.
